Edward Chau is a master’s student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Edward is part of the health services research program and has a concentration in outcomes and evaluation. He is currently performing quantitative research based on patients with multimorbidity and is under the supervision of Dr. Walter Wodchis. In particular, he is seeking to investigate how long it takes for patients to develop each consecutive condition and whether there are any amenable risk factors that can be targeted to prevent further disease onset.
Edward also completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto where he majored in biology and philosophy. Prior to joining HSPRN as a trainee, he was employed at Public Health Ontario (PHO) as a laboratory assistant in the department of high volume testing.
